Jacob has been part of our family for many years. My grandmother, who had excellent taste, loved using this chair in her vast country hall at the side of a great carved serving table. Once gilded and now stripped, this chair takes on museum-quality both in the quality of the carving and the accuracy of the finish. It's what I call 'simple grand'.
