A tropical oasis comes to life in this whimsical rainforest scene. Featuring over 40 color combinations, this intricate design uses subtle shading to add life and movement. The sky Tibetan wool background uses a unique dyeing technique to create variation and depth of color. The Oriental Birds is the finest hand-knotted rug we have created to date. The highly detailed pattern of Paulメs beautiful design challenged us to explore new techniques and qualities. Taking almost a year to make, the rug isᅠso fine that there are 300 individually handwoven knots per square inch, creating an exquisitely low pile.
