Solo Rugs
Fresh, spirited, and above all, luxurious, the rugs of the modern collection can invigorate a traditional room as gracefully as they can ground a more contemporary space. Regardless of their color and style, there is just one thing about these rugs that are not modern: Each is painstakingly handcrafted by artisans using time-honored techniques.
The rug is very soft and the design is beautiful, but the colors are not accurately represented. The rug I received was a much duller, more gray rug. The yellow is almost brown and barely noticeable. The rug is definitely not as vibrant and colorful as pictured (I also looked at this on multiple devices, so it is the pictures that are inaccurate).. Courtney. Cleveland, OH. 2024-04-30 08:43:52

EXQUISITE RUGS
In collaboration with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Botanica rug was inspired by the leafy motifs of early 15th-century Italian pottery. Its soothing cool colors and botanical design create a tranquil oasis. The hand-tufted 100% wool dense loop pile ensures warmth, durability, and luxury.
Harlequin
A hand-tufted rug with subtle gradations and movements of color, Calla is the perfect way to add a sense of mesmeric calm.
Marimekko
These joyful rugs in bold patterns and vibrant colors are hand-tufted in India by a selected manufacturer. A high-quality New Zealand wool has been used for the yarns.
Momeni
With tribal designs inspired by the desert, this area rug captures the essence of southwestern design. Each decorative floor covering presents a fresh take on centuries-old geometric tapestries, with alternating weaving techniques that develop depth and dimension throughout the diamond trellis pattern. Handwoven from 100% natural wool threads, the top, and bottom of each rug get a touch of texture with fringed tassels.
Chilewich
Inspired by Bauhaus textiles and debuting 100 years after the legendary design school was founded, Heddle explores the interaction of weaving and color. Areas of more graphic, floating yarns are juxtaposed with flat-woven fields of subtle stripes. Heddle is named for an integral element of the loom on which it was developed. On a loom, each warp yarn is threaded through the eye of a heddle: similar to threading a sewing needle. Lifting and lowering the heddles in deliberate sequences creates different weave structures.
