This table is both utilitarian and beautiful with gracefully formed trestle ends and an oak top. When open it can easily seat 8 people for dining. When closed it is sized to fit comfortably behind a sofa.
This is a beautiful table and very well made. It is so nice that it's very narrow, yet it can fold out to a much larger table for additional guest seating. Very pretty table although be aware that there are veneers and the table is made in China. The first table that was delivered to us had the veneer on one of the leaves bubbling up/chipping off. Perigold has amazing customer service and shipped out a new table right away and followed up multiple times. The second table arrived and tabletop was fine although part of the wood on the side/underneath was splintering off. We decided it was in a spot that wasn't very noticeable and didn't want to go thru the hassle of sending a second table back.
