The artist, David Brown, studied and received his fine arts training at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in Drawing and Painting in 2018. As a child, he watched his older brother draw and recalls wanting to draw just like him when he grew up. David currently lives in Long Beach, California, and has been lucky to show his work in multiple group shows and a few solo shows, mostly based in the Los Angeles area. His traditional work includes oil, charcoal, and graphite. He is strongly influenced by the renaissance, baroque, and a lot of today’s contemporary work. David’s work is predominately focused on the human figure. “People are my inspiration. I love learning people’s stories and try to capture the sitter’s narrative through my drawings/paintings…I love drawing people from life, I feel that my work focuses on the relationship between artist and model”. His art is his one true passion and he believes that “Artists are super sensitive and emotional human beings, our work is a physical representation of our thoughts and emotions, a diary that we choose to share with the world”.

A vintage-style etching of a tree creates an intimate and pleasing composition in this timeless landscape.
I like the print, but was surprised to see that the frame is not what is shown on the webpage. The frame I received - while still be the same black and gold colors - is more ornate and elaborate than the clean simple look I thought I was getting. I would have preferred the cleaner look.. This artwork features overlapping gray and black silhouette birds perched in trees.
It is a stunning piece, but it arrived with a chip on the frame, which was most disappointing.. Anonymous. . 2024-08-01 18:03:41
Deckled and floated on the mat.
The details of birch bark are depicted in this neutral watercolor painting of these woodsy elements.

The array of flowers is arranged throughout the composition to create a sophisticated and unique piece of art.

Ready to start your gallery wall? This framed print on paper is a recreation of the painting titled: Branches by Susan Hable. It showcases silhouettes of four leaf-covered botanicals in black and beige hues. We love how this artwork adds a fresh accent to your living room or office without overwhelming your space. This piece is protected by a glass sheet and surrounded by a black frame.
