Although born and raised in Los Angeles, Artist Van Garret has been heavily influenced by traveling abroad to many countries, especially Iceland. Music is a big part of his life and it sparked his creativity even before he began painting. Van began painting when he was in college and he is self-taught. “Art was something that was always in my genes. It makes me happy. I believe that every artist leaves a piece of themselves in their artwork. In turn, it makes me happy when people get to own part of those pieces to share with the world.” Van prefers working in liquid acrylics and watercolors because of their fluidity. “I like how the colors flow. I like to observe how the different shapes and mixtures come alive.” Van finds animals, humans and nature are his favorite subjects to paint. He is inspired by nature, people, and music. When not painting, Van runs marathons, travels, and plays the guitar.

Neuron - Shadowbox Print is a modern piece of artwork made from hand embellishment, patina, and texture all on a reflective foil matt board. Each piece will be unique and 'one of a kind'. The art is made to order by our artist. Each will have movement and swirls of the pattern. We suggest hanging Neuron in multiple series on the wall. This is a checkerboard with dramatic contrast. Framed under acrylic shadowbox and mounted with details of nail head in each corner. May be hung in a checkerboard pattern, or individually as a modern statement of wall decor.
Earth-inspired and color-oriented, self-taught artist Melody Joy McMunn plays with movement in subtle ways, favoring oil and mixed media.

"Drifting into the Abstract 1" is a mesmerizing work on canvas that recalls the soak-staining technique developed by American Abstractionist Helen Frankenthaler. Using thinned layers of color, translucency, and saturation are achieved across the entirety of the canvas, broken up only by a thin line that composes the abstract horizon. Muted tones on the top of the canvas, while the bottom half is more densely formed in subtle shades. This art is a masterpiece on canvas.
Inspired by nature, society, and day-to-day life, Bangalore-based artist Santhosh CH's original piece is framed within grain oak for a museum-quality look.
Raised between Ethiopia, Malawi, Togo, and South Africa, the now-Austinite's upbringing can be sensed in her culture-rich works. An ombre effect of light and dark. Handmade in Austin, Texas.
