Emma Brooks was born in Brooklyn, New York to a liberal family that encouraged her artistic abilities from a young age. Growing up in the busy city life, Emma became inspired by the various cultures and lifestyles she encountered in the city. With a broad interest in design and modern art, Emma was accepted to the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island. Brooks drew inspiration from her professors and the long-time interest she retained for aesthetics and unique beauty. Emma currently resides in downtown Los Angeles with her dog, Jackson. She enjoys the creative expression that Los Angeles has to offer, and is always seeking new artistic awakenings to portray in her artwork.
