Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me to a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil which she describes as “back to basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and sewing embroidery when she is not creating new artwork.

The artist, D’Alessandro Léon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro Léon attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods studying different techniques, D’Alessandro Léon's art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During his studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro Léon was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.
The picture is great quality, prettier in person, and was perfect for my room.. Jamie. Cherokee VILLAGE, AR. 2022-04-19 00:02:39
The artist uses broad brushstrokes to create a clearly recognizable image without being too representational. The earth tones color palette ties the elk to its surrounding, while the contrasting negative white space allows the image to pop.
Yes! I bought 2! So realistic and articulate in detail! Love it!. LauraLeigh. Missoula mt. 2024-02-08 23:01:47

Artist Commentary: This is one of my personal favorites and it was a lot of fun to design it, and to create it. Lots of big gestures, it was very a physical endeavor to actually create it, funny as that may sound.
