This Abstract Musing Hand-Painted Canvas is a testament to the beauty of minimalist expression. The hand-applied strokes of acrylic paint create a landscape of abstract thought, captured within the confines of a sturdy firwood frame. Measuring 29.5 by 39.25 inches, it commands attention without overwhelming the viewer. The neutral palette of taupe and grey allows for versatility in decor, complementing a range of color schemes. Equipped with D-Ring hooks, it offers the flexibility to hang in two different ways, catering to any spatial and aesthetic needs. It's not just a piece of art; it's a conversation starter, an invitation to ponder and appreciate the subtleties of abstract design.

Artist David Erickson grew up emulating the works of the masters using rudimentary tools. David received his fine arts training while apprenticing under other painters and is primarily self-taught. He became an artist through sheer will, grit, and determination. “I enjoy layers of transparency and the unpredictable nature of water-based mediums”. Eric explores themes of memory and place often through abstract and draws inspiration from the world around him, across a multitude of disciplines. David’s passions are drawing, painting, illustration, design, film, and photography. When David is not painting, his time is spent enjoying the outdoors with canine companions.
