Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me to a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil which she describes as “back to basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and sewing embroidery when she is not creating new artwork.

Because life is all about the magic in the detours and the beauty of taking time to explore bumpy, back road dirt roads in a tropical paradise with a vintage Land Rover just like this.
A vibrant landscape painting reminiscent of Monet's waterlilies, the artist uses a bold bright color palette to breathe light into any room. The use of negative space opens up the painting and creates an airiness designed to make any space feel bigger.
