a little cheap in the drawer construction and funcational opening and closing but lovely to look at. This piece was delivered to foyer. I don't understand WHO would ever want a piece delivered to the foyer and not to the room and have the crate unscrew and put into place. I will be hesitatnt to order from Perigold in the future because of the crazy delivery options that do not bring a piece to its final resting place. This Caracole Classic Dramatic Presence 9 Drawer Dresser is stunning. I love the height (higher than my prior dresser), soft close drawers, deep drawers, and rounded look. As mentioned in my review of the matching nightstand, the knobs are a brighter gold and bigger than anticipated, but still look great. The side bars and feet are made of wood (not metal), but are gold toned. I plan to get glass made to the dimensions of the top to avoid any scratching of the beautiful smooth surface.
