The Michael Aram's Pomegranate collection takes its inspiration from one of the most universal and ancient symbols in the world. The fruit has been prized across the globe, across cultures, and across time as a representation of life, rebirth, and renewal as well as fertility and union. "I grew up around pomegranates - from their use as natural dyes on the antique rugs I used to crawl on as a baby to an integral ingredient in the food that I love. When I'm at my home in New Delhi, I wake each morning to the taste of freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. The color, the smell, the delicate flavor all make it feel like a magical elixir to me."

The Olive Branch collection is one of the best-known and most loved of Michael's motifs. The simple forms create objects that serve wonderfully as stunning individual gifts or an exuberant table setting that decorates an entire moment of your life. The theme itself captures all the most distinctive aspects of Michael's work - narrative strength, deep symbolism, and extraordinary sculptural expression. "The olive branch has always held a powerful meaning for me representing both peace and victory. In designing functional objects with natural forms, there is a mingled sense of fragility and intensity. For me, it is like nature spreading through my interior spaces - like a magical olive grove sweetly willing its way into my home."
Global Views
The Color Drop Votives are hand-blown art glass made by Polish artisans. Each votive has an interior casing of colored glass and no two pieces are alike.
The bubbled bowl is made in a small art glass factory located in the south-eastern point of Poland. The artisans first form the smoke grey glass in a mold. Using a round tool, the interior bubbles in the abstract shape are pushed out of the wall of the bowl. Lastly, the glass is annealed for over 24hrs to cool. Each piece is unique, so the shape and color may vary.

Phillips Collection
Made of glass with a turquoise sheen, the Bubble Plate is stamped with a flowing pattern that is created when molten glass is laid onto a surface covered with stones. The rocks create varying sizes of impressions that bring this decorative plate its bubbly personality. The versatility of this decorative accent is one of its charms: place it on a large kitchen island and fill it with dried artichokes or line several of them on a dining room table to form a lovely centerpiece.
