The Alchemy Container collection is made of brass that has been oxidized, therefore each piece is inherently unique.
The iron "nuggets" of this bowl are reclaimed scraps of metal from the factory floor which have been repurpBronzeosed with great imagination. The individual pieces have been welded together in irregular shapes, then torched. Recycling at its best!

Our Crackled Footed ceramics are crafted using an ancient Japanese form of firing called "Raku." Raku ware is characterized by beautifully crackled or metallic glazed surfaces as well as blackened unglazed surfaces, both of which are the result of the unique low-firing technique. These specific pieces are created by intricately placing horsehair on the pieces while they are still hot resulting in the stunning crackled finish.
