Luigi Bormioli
The Vinoteque collection is made in Italy of SON.hyx break resistant glass. Luigi Bormioli’s proprietary SON.hyx glassware formula represents an exciting fusion of elegance and technology. These machine blown glasses have laser cut rims, ideal weight, and maintain their clarity for up to 4,000 industrial dish washing cycles. The Vinoteque collection is designed to balance the sensations of each type of wine. The shapes and dimensions of each glass are the result of studies and scientific research done to maximize the olfactory and taste perception of the wines. The Vinoteque collection is perfect for any wine connoisseur.
Between history and culture, from prohibition to exotic mixtures of avant-garde, emerges Mixology, the art of mixing where nothing is left to chance. We embarked upon this new adventure with a collection of luxury barware and cocktail-making equipment, created in collaboration with Yuri Gelmini, head barman of the surfer’s den in Milan and futurist mixologist. The study and the search for new elements, expert hands which know how to mix and fine-tune new flavors, everything is left to the taste and the imagination of futurist mixologist Yuri Gelmini, and leads to forms of creativity and aesthetic expression thanks to both technical means and his ability deriving from study and experience in this field.
A new shape - simple and perfect - and a new production technology that reproduces artisanal techniques. These two essential parameters paved the way for the realization of these wine glasses: super-light and balanced when tasting, robust and flexible, the glasses transmit the quality and the intense aroma of the wine, designed to develop an excellent mouthfeel by creating a perfect equilibrium amongst various components of flavor, the glasses allow for a pleasant aftertaste, and the bowl’s shape creates a unique decanter effect. Orrefors
Spheres, cylinders and cones form the basis of the aptly named series Geometry, a true Scandinavian design statement where intriguing geometric shapes and a confident stature combine to deliver an iconic, timeless and unmistakable Orrefors design.
