Its parent line Bijou one couture under the creative direction of an American designer, launched at Paris fashion week in 2008 as a custom handbag line, boasting the finest of materials, exotic skins, supple leathers, precious gemstones, and 18K gold, it was the vision of a "return to luxury". All custom handmade pieces became collections of Private Clientele in the U.S., Europe, and Japan. Originally constructed in Firenze Italy Bijou moved its production to the U.S. where we currently create and produce our lines. This gave birth to Bijou's luxury home. Our luxury home line consists of "limited edition" pieces. No more than three of each style are produced. All custom handmade pieces are constructed of the finest quality exotic materials, including vintage accents. New to the line are our repurposed furniture pieces. This cushion's modest geometric design and contemporary color palette by Andrew Martin reflects the modern luxury and traditional charm of the legendary Italian village it's named after. Woven into a rustic linen weave is a simple striped and grid pattern, whilst the edge has been finished with smooth velvet piping.
This cushion is the bolder cousin of our original Positano cushion, using the reverse side of the fabric for a brighter and more saturated look. The cheerful geometric design is inspired by the modern luxury and charm of the legendary Italian village it's named after and has been finished with smooth piping.
