Galante is an exceptional design. One that while originating in France 244 years ago, looks modern, sophisticated, and fresh today. Discovered as a printed canvas in the textile archive of the Toile de Jouy Museum in France, reinterpreted by Anne de Solène and coordinated with a striking 3-lined stripe print. Founded in 1760 by Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf, the Oberkampf Manufactory, based in Jouy-en-Josas, then a village just outside of Paris, created textile designs inspired by the discoveries of ancient lands. The flat sheet is made with the toile de Jouy print. The flat sheet is embellished with an inset grosgrain ribbon trim. Made of Organic 100% long-staple cotton.

Printing an ikat design, which are usually woven, was a fun experiment; different elements emerge. Because the color gets picked up so nicely, we used a rich peacock. We kept the pattern fuzzy to retain the authentic woven vibe.

Imaginaire is a stunning, lushly decorative design of contemporary Leopard spots, coordinated with a small stingray print. Both prints are done in shades of blue. The Imaginaire look is classic and very modern at the same time. Richly colored, exotic, and sumptuously elegant. The Imaginaire flat sheet is made with leopard print. Organic, 100% long-staple combed cotton.

Painterly brushstrokes emblematic of the classic harlequin pattern embellish this modern Schumacher design. Printed on 500 thread count Luca Egyptian cotton percale, the versatile geometric pattern is available in five colors and finished with a sleek knife edge on duvets and shams, and a simple satin stitch on the sheeting. The monochromatic print pairs perfectly with a variety of our prints and solids, but it is equally captivating on its own.

A design from Schumacher’s archive becomes an ikat-style print of soft, colorful stripes on the Luca percale Egyptian-quality cotton percale weave.
