Villa & House (originally Bungalow 5)
The Coppelia Figurine captures the gracefulness of dance in a highly abstract form. In a burst of energy, the artist has modeled a dancer and left it in the rough to capture the sense of languid movement.

A classic camera stands on a tripod, ready for a series of professional stills. Crafted of an astonishing assortment of recycled metal, the image springs from the imagination of Armando Ramírez. He transforms metal scraps, screws and washers into a modern art sculpture. The artisan does not give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.

Two beautiful young women are rushing headlong into the night with their evening dresses billowing voluptuously around them. It is the coloring of the dresses that tells us where the two mysterious ladies are headed. As they advance the blue turns darker, so much so that in the end it is almost black.
Stormtroopers are one of the most iconic images from the Star Wars saga. These imperial warriors, who have gone on to become part of pop culture, have been faithfully depicted in porcelain in minute detail. Made in glazed white porcelain, black was chosen as the main color for the decoration with some touches painted in gray tones. The piece comes with a base featuring an identifying plaque and its edition number. This creation is part of a limited edition of 1138 units.
This charming little coyote alebrije, who could be whistling a tune on a sunny day, is hand crafted out of cedar wood by artisan Teresita Gonzalez of Mexico. A bright array of colors and myriad of floral motifs are among the many hand painted details this delightful alebrije has to offer. The tail is removed for shipping.

The artisan says about what her art means to her: “The doctor diagnosed me with cancerous sarcoma, but I'd look at my son and I knew my work in life wasn't finished. I began painting as a form of therapy, and I've learned to believe in life and to have dreams.'
This motorcycle of classic inspiration is built by Armando Ramirez from an intriguing collection of recycled metal pieces, some extracted from cars. The tires are bearings from a car's electrical system and the hubcaps are electric coils. The motorbike's fuel tank was once a rocker arm from an automotive ignition. The engine is shaped from a cogwheel as well as a timing chain. Please note it is the artist's intention not to give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.

Whimsical in terracotta, Rocky the Teckel is a sculpture by the emerging Thai artist Nhut Nhathawut. With an expression that is so lifelike that it feels like he may bark at any moment, there are a number of artisanal aspects to the canine sculpture. This includes the obvious strokes of the artist's tools that play along the surface of the dog's body. Brownlee Currey had some fun with this dachshund, describing his reality as, "Known for only biting below the knee, he was last seen wading in the ocean just off Miami."
The Tarn Statue borrows from both Japanese and French Beaux-arts inspiration. It captures a fleeting aquatic moment as though time has stopped for an instant. Crafted from cast metal and finished with gold leaf and clear lacquer, it exudes charm. This delightful piece adds a shimmering touch to your decor scheme, enhancing any space with its beauty. Whether placed on a shelf to add interest or paired as bookends, the Tarn Statue brings a touch of whimsical appeal to your home.
Kosta Boda
As Ellen Ehk Åkesson was asked to create an art object in honor of Ulrica Hydman Vallien's artistry, the magnificent Ticka was born. The object became part of Kosta Boda's 2021 tribute collection to the late Hydman Vallien. Ticka, available in a limited edition of 100 pieces, is a vessel from Ellen’s own imagination based on the same shape as Ulrica’s “snake bowl”. “I wanted to make something of my own, but with a connection to Ulrica’s art. For the tribute collection, I was inspired by the directness of her approach and style. The vessel symbolizes a tree trunk. It’s covered with modeled polypore mushrooms, called ‘Ticka’ in Swedish – hence the name.” – Ellen Ehk Åkesson. Ticka is handmade in Kosta, Sweden.

Though the Composite Greek Princess Head Bust looks as if it has survived since ancient times, it is actually made of composite and inspired by a museum piece that was a valuable antique. The skill of the artisans who created it is evident, not only in how the broken areas are so convincing but in the aged-beige finish that fools the eye into thinking it is carved from stone. The beige bust is fastened to a black metal base, which is also museum-style.
