Whimsical in terracotta, Sam the Mutt is a sculpture by the emerging Thai artist Nhut Nhathawut. With an expression that is so lifelike that it feels like he may bark at any moment, there are several artisanal aspects to the canine sculpture. Brownlee Currey had some fun with this mixed breed, describing his reality as "There may be some bulldog in there, but Sam’s mental and physical acuity is more akin to a potato than a sporting breed."
