Though the Composite Young Royal Greek Torso Bust looks as if it has survived since ancient times, it is actually made of composite and inspired by a museum piece that was a valuable antique. The skill of the artisans who created it is evident, not only in how the broken areas are so convincing but in the aged-beige finish that fools the eye into thinking it is carved from stone. The beige bust is fastened to a black metal base, which is also museum-style.

Made of composite in an aged beige finish with random spritzes of antiquing, the Ancient Greek Torso Sculpture masquerades as an artifact. The marble-like sculpture has two artisans to thank for its feeling of authenticity: the mold maker, who is central to the work; and the painter, who hand-paints the piece to create the illusion that it was unearthed after being carved ions ago.
Love the product immensely. I'm an old history major so it's very fitting for me. Thanks again!. Jerry. Goldsboro, NC. 2024-12-06 04:41:47
This Rubenesque figural sculpture convincingly replicates an antique statue of the Goddess Venus, though it is made of composite. It's the finish that fools the eye, the aged beige rubbed onto the surface so that it collects in the rougher spots, mimicking how the stone would have looked where it was broken off. The beige sculpture is attached to a solid black marble base and mounted to read like it's a museum piece.

This depiction of the goddess Diana is made of porcelain. In this imposing creation, she is shooting with a bow and arrow, as she appears in countless classical artworks. It is made in satin matte porcelain. Worth underscoring in this composition are the many meticulously etched details of her clothing, like the floral motifs on her gown, bracelets, and headdress which are all decorated in a wealth of earthy tones, set off by touches of golden luster. The moon that Diana wears around her neck is the symbol of the goddess and is the main motif of Moon jewelry. A bracelet and a pendant made in white porcelain decorated with golden luster and a soft leather cord.

I like making jaguar heads because they remind me of my Maya ancestors. To them, the jaguars protected the fields and mountains. They regarded the jaguar as a deity who they honored at the beginning of harvest, says Jose canal Ramos. According to Maya cosmogony, the jaguar is represented by the iIX/i day of the Maya calendar. It symbolizes strength and vigor, as well as feminine and feline energies. Canil carves the sculpture by hand from pinewood and paints it with extraordinary artistry. Before finishing the piece he applies a mixture of soot and water to achieve an antique and weathered illusion.
Modeled after an antique fragment of a statue found in Turkey, the Greek foot relic is a marvelous representation of how the body part was carved during the heyday of the Greek Renaissance. The antique white finish on the marble brings it a polished feel that looks museum-worthy. This ivory objet d’art will bring an immediate classicism to its spot on a shelf.

The Gemma playfully references Cubism by juxtaposing different perspectives in an unanticipated manner. The piece cleverly blends a modern aesthetic with an older artisanal quality which is evinced by the hand-molding of the piece. Crafted by master artisans in metal with a bronze finish, the Gemma rests on a base of polished marble.
