Kosta Boda
She was five or six years old. On one of her solo walks in the woods, she found herself in a pit among newly hatched snakes. Fearless and curious, she sat down - Ulrica once told us this herself - and her mother finally found her lost little girl. The snakes were Ulrica's first friends. In her artistry, she continued to spend time with snakes throughout her life. Drawn, painted, shaped in clay, or as seen here: meandering and shiny in clear glass that is painted gold. Her snakes have adorned countless vases, plates, and bowls over the years. She releases them into the wild, in all of their elegance and heavenly playfulness. In Ulrica's spirit, this rare and beautiful object aims to remind us of our solidarity with animals and nature.

Venini
Blown for the first time in 1921, thanks to the intuition of the art director of Venini 1921-1925: the painter Vittorio Zecchin. A 1580 painting by Paolo Veronese, "The Annunciation of the Virgin", inspired the artist to create this glasswork which has achieved such great success that it became the company logo and, with time, an icon of the company.
From Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia. Lustrous translucent beige-colored bladed cerussite crystals that are repeatedly twinned and resulting in sixling-twinned formation on gray matrix.
... An idea that jumped the queue! The process started – sketches, modeling, rendering, making iron frames and the incredible Venini masters blowing molten glass into glasses. Not only an amazing exciting time by the furnaces, but also my favorite results – getting something better than one deserves. So, where are my glasses? Well, it’s transparent! Ron Arad.
