The medium teak wood ball is a natural wonder. We've taken gigantic pieces of root and honed them into a decorative sculpture that maintains its natural character due to the fissures that were eaten into its surface. As we shaped the teak wood into a ball, we brought a beautiful sheen to the finished piece and refined the character that only nature can achieve. Given the shape is decidedly contemporary, this wood ball reflects the modern organic ethos embraced.
The passion for sustainability is why they only use unearthed roots of teak wood and no longer source slabs of this precious species. The power washes the roots, removing all dirt and rocks, to reveal the intricate and spectacular system that remains. From there they thoughtfully decide where to make their cuts, ensuring that they maximize the use of the entire root while providing beautiful, functional furniture and accessories. This teak wood ball is a beautiful tabletop accessory.

Eating utensils are much more significant than they are given credit for. Ghanaian artisan Eva Asantewa Amakye brings food and the beauty of eating to our attention by creating this skillfully carved sese wood fork wall sculpture featuring a crowned head on the handle. Amakye calls it Ohene Attle, which means 'King's Fork' in the Twi language spoken by the Akan peoples of Ghana.
