Birds alight on Saint Francis, the venerable monk, and a spotted dogs sits loyally at his knee. Symbol of Guatemala, a splendid green quetzal bird nestles on his arm. Jose Canil Ramos carves a charming portrait of the Founder of the Franciscan order. Francis of Assisi believed in the brotherhood of all of God's creation. It is said that he once preached to hundreds of birds about being thankful to God for their wonderful clothes, for their independence, and for God's care. The birds stood still as the saint walked among him, flying off only when he said they could leave. The arm and bird are removable to protect them during shipping. Because each work of art is individually carved and painted by hand, no two will ever be identical.

As a symbol of faith, our glass cross glimmers in a simple yet profound form. Made in our American studios using our finest glass, the cross rises five inches and is almost four inches wide, with a substantial weight for its relatively petite size. It feels solid and cool in the hand, becomes a focal point on a desk, and gleams with a quiet beauty on a mantle or shelf. Our glass cross also makes a truly divine gift for confirmations, graduations, birthdays, and religious holidays.

The "Bust of Zeus" by Eichholtz celebrates a marble head of Zeus Ammon in The Met's Greek and Roman art collection. This powerful Roman portrait combines a classical Greek image of the bearded Zeus with the ram's horns of the Egyptian Ammon. This contemporary interpretation is handcrafted to perfection. Its striking resemblance to the original celebrates timeless artistry and mythological splendor.
The 'Bust of Hatshepsut,' inspired by The Met's 'Head of an Osiride Statue of Hatshepsut,' is a remarkable piece of handcrafted artistry. Crafted from sandstone and elegantly presented on a black metal base. Each of these stone busts is a unique creation, with variations in color and texture that enhance its charm. This piece pays tribute to the ancient beauty and grace of Hatshepsut, making it a captivating addition to any collection.

The "Faith" sculpture takes its inspiration from the Khor Virap monastery which is the symbolic birthplace of Christianity in Armenia. It was at Khor Virap (Armenian for "deep dungeon") where the man who would become Saint Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned in a pit for 14 years before he helped turn Armenia into the first Christian nation. Before attaining sainthood, Grigor Lusavorich was held in the bottom of a pit, where he was secretly fed by a local Christian woman who kept him alive. Later, after curing King Trdat III of a disease, he became the religious mentor of the monarch. During this time, Grigor would be instrumental in converting the king to Christianity. In 301 AD, King Trdat III proclaimed Christianity as the state religion of Armenia - marking the first nation to adopt Christianity officially. I first visited Khor Virap as a teenager over 40 years ago. The feeling I got while climbing through a small hole and descending into the dungeon where St. Gregory was thrown to die is something that I will never forget. The idea that a man could survive in those conditions for so many years was astonishing to me and is a testament to the depth of his Christian faith.

The three wise men which were first depicted by the brand in 1969 featured in high porcelain, Lladró's maximum artistic category, with attractive decoration. The Lladró brothers Juan, José, and Vicente presented the original pieces as a gift to Pope Paul VI when they visited the Vatican in 1969. Soon afterward, a man stepped on the moon for the first time and the pope, in turn, gave a king to each one of the three astronauts from Apollo 11 and spoke to them about the mission in which another three men were guided by a star to take a message to the entire humanity.
Saint George is the prototype of the medieval knight and one of the most venerated saints of Europe. Artists of the Lladró High Porcelain workshop have created this spectacular interpretation of his legendary adventure with the dragon in a limited edition which stands out for its dynamism and the technical virtuosity of its execution. The scene shows the hero fighting with a fierce creature in order to free the king´s daughter, who was to be sacrificed to satisfy the demands of the monster. In the decoration of the piece, the richness of enamels stands out, with roughly twenty different tones applied to the dragon and the depth of textures accentuating the modeling and providing it with volume. In contrast, the knight displays more gentle treatment, softened by his light skin and Apollonian features. This contrast is reinforced by the white horse, a symbol of the nobility, bravery, and loyalty necessary to defeat evil.

Though the Composite Greek Princess Head Bust looks as if it has survived since ancient times, it is actually made of composite and inspired by a museum piece that was a valuable antique. The skill of the artisans who created it is evident, not only in how the broken areas are so convincing but in the aged-beige finish that fools the eye into thinking it is carved from stone. The beige bust is fastened to a black metal base, which is also museum-style.
