Paper mache tabletop sculpture of various human and animal forms. Lovingly crafted. Comes on a metal base.
Howard Elliott
This sculpture draws inspiration from the raw and rugged elegance of iron rods, expertly folded and molded together to form a tangled and intricate masterpiece. Each link intertwines with the next, creating a sense of unity and chaos, a metaphor for the interconnectedness of life and art. The texture of this sculpture captures the essence of time-worn iron, with its weathered and tactile surface, adding depth and character to its form. Whether displayed as a standalone statement piece or integrated into a larger decor ensemble this sculpture invites you to explore the beauty of texture, form, and the boundless possibilities of artistic expression, transforming your living space into a gallery of modern design and creative wonder.
Daum
Sylvie Mangaud, born in Paris in 1961, is a French artist who primarily works in depicting nudes and animals. After her studies in graphology and morphology, she quickly became passionate about the image and expression of the body. Her creations are light and rendered with finesse, capturing their elegance and natural movement. Her sculptures made for Daum out of crystal paste are sensitive and delicate, like her newest work, "Darling", full of grace and sensuality.
In collaboration with Daum, Jean Louis Sauvat presents a series around the theme of the horse-his personal predilection. This work reveals the fine modeling of the raw material, exhibiting the force and untamed character of the wild horse.
