Bonbon Chouval Mini Me Terre Sculpture. The "Bonbon Chouval" (Horse Biscuit in Creole) was originally a traditional pastry from the island of Martinique. Carelessly shaped like a horse, the biscuits were sold in the village markets during the patronal feast. The Horse is also a recall of the island's cultural variety, Amerindians were the only inhabitants on the land and had no notion of cavalry before the conquistadors first brought them. It is Victor Anicet's signature to use fragments of Martinican culture in his Art. Each Bonbon Chouval is a sculpture that brings a unique and contemporary statement to your interior.
