It’s this picture that inspired the collection, which is composed of stolen details to this inspiration. Perfect for every need, the collection Spritz adapts well to any context, hospitality, and home. It is not a coincidence that Spritz, the collection created by Archirivolto Design for Vondom, embodies in the name the idea of freshness and purity of shapes. Rigorous shapes that connect home and world, with a kaleidoscope of variations and nuances. This mix between the linearity of northern European style and the typical warmth of the Mediterranean creates a dialogue between indoor and outdoor.

This product comes from generating serene and timeless shapes using the framework of elementary geometry. The endless possibilities offered by the material using advanced technology were the motivation to explore the limits. The frame section is flared creating pieces of visual lightness while still definitive and resistant. It meets a wide range of needs in any outdoor space thanks to its variety of pieces. The lightness of the pieces as well as the stackable nature of some, such as the chairs and armchairs, make adjustments to their distribution easier and more comfortable. Also, the chaise longue, with a reclining backrest, has wheels built into the framework which makes moving it easier. The pattern, initially designed to get integrated with nature, didn’t take long to get into the fashion world in order to get the opposite effect in the urban environment.

The Biophilia furniture design collection, by Ross Lovegrove, explores a new avenue of design that forms a dialogue between time, shape, and space. It combines the trend-setting natural design of the Sagrada Familia by Antonio Gaudi, Vondom’s expertise in advanced rotational molding technology, and the ongoing line of research on digital transference into contemporary design. Taken out of craft and into the 21st century’s progressive domain of polymerization and industry, Biophilia is a collection that acknowledges this lineage but pushes the boundaries between material structure and shapes into new modern territory as yet unseen, diametrically opposed to modernism in its expressions.
