Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect, designer, writer, and educator. He designed more than 1,000 structures lifetime and played a vital role in the architectural movements of the twentieth century. Wright inspired this flatware using his tree of life design, first featured in the creation of Darwin D Martin House in Buffalo, New York, in 1896. Wright reduced the tree to its most elemental, geometric forms.

The Orchid collection celebrates the ethereal spirit of the orchid plant. Symbolic of purity and grace, this collection captures the delicate nature of orchids while also expressing a quality of mystery and sensuality. "There is something so captivating about orchids. Rendered with white enamel over golden brass, each bloom glistens with a quiet vibrance. The elegant composition of finishes creates a perfect balance, evoking a feeling of subtle luxury. Each stem feels so delicate and weightless, belying the fact that the pieces are forged in metal and anchored in marble, crafted to last an eternity." - Michael Aram.
The Bark & Branch collection takes its inspiration from the intricacies of form and texture found in foliage from around the world. By interpreting plant forms in cast metal, Michael presents work that is evocative of a natural environment, transformed and redefined. Each piece is an intimate expression of Michael's individual creativity as well as an object of infinite and timeless meaning. "For me, the shapes conjure a sense of freshness and fragility. At the same time, the textures represent a metaphor for life itself – growth, vitality, and pulsation. Everybody has an emotional response when they see natural objects. They are part of all of us. What I enjoy about these pieces is that in a way they are 'slices' of nature, small vignettes of the forest. It is fascinating to imagine the outside world infiltrating my interior spaces as if the room is being gently consumed by nature."

The Tulip collection celebrates rebirth as the ground begins to thaw and new life flourishes. Inspired by the feathery petals of the parrot tulip, each petal ripples as if the flower is about to take flight. Symbolic of perfect love, these expressive blooms tell a story of life: passion, grace, and new beginnings. The Tulip collection features elaborate sculptures in a modern, lyrical way. The white enamel and gold finish reflects the effect of light and shadow that caress each flower as the world begins to wake. "I've grown up with tulips in my garden since I was a child, and still enjoy the surprise of them as a first sign of spring. The image of their stems forcing through the dirt and eventually bowing under the weight of their heavy-headed blooms is something I find so precious and beautiful." - Michael Aram.
