The flatware is beautiful. My only disappointment is that the dinner spoons are too large and really not usable. I am using them as serving spoons.. Susan. Lawrence, MA. 2024-01-30 10:47:09
Georg Jensen
With its classic good looks and distinctive deep grooved decoration, the Bernadotte collection of cutlery has stood the test of time and remains the epitome of sophistication. Originally designed in 1936, this stainless steel five-piece set brings a sense of elegance to any mealtime. By birth a prince in the Swedish royal family, Sigvard Bernadotte became one of Georg Jensen’s earliest design stars. Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect, designer, writer, and educator. Wright inspired this flatware using his tree of life design, first featured in the creation of Darwin D Martin House in Buffalo, New York, in 1896. Wright reduced the tree to its most elemental, geometric forms.

Michael Aram
The Cast Iron collection takes its inspiration from the uniquely striking textures created by the iron forging process. Random and abrupt yet exquisitely tactile, this pattern depicts the spirit seen in so much of Michael's metalwork. The design is also carefully crafted in terms of color and surface detail to integrate perfectly with any of Michael's other dinnerware patterns. The unified body shapes used in all of the motifs make mixing and matching the patterns a seamless proposition. "My love for texture is profoundly expressed in this pattern. Cast Iron is the most elemental material yet the surface has always held such fascination for me. I find it gruff and even gently abrasive. I love the idea of bringing that inspiration into a Limoges dinnerware pattern, releasing all the formal constraints we usually associate with that world."
