Mercury glass "Tree-gallery" of keepsake ornaments is artistically handcrafted with a touch of gold and silver for a subtle glow. Classic Holidays and Christmas, Easter, Halloween, coastal, Americana, wildlife and nature, Birthday, and many more. This collection has been inspired by Russian lacquered boxes from the world-famous village Fedoskino, where for almost 200 years, artists have been painting beautiful miniature lacquered paper-mâché boxes inlaid with mother of pearl. After years of studying this technique, we established an innovative form of painting that were proud to bring to you our exclusive G. DeBrekht glass ornaments, created like in the old times. We spray silver powder inside the glass ball and then sandblast this ball from the outside. We use the combination of transparent& opaque paint for the realistic, deep iridescent effect of the sun or moonlighting the landscape or beautiful scenery on our ornaments. The ornament is beautifully decorated, accented with touches of gold, finished with a lovely satin ribbon, then placed in a specialty gift box.

Peruvian artisan Daniel Vargas makes this set of three dried gourd owl ornaments by hand. Owls are part of many legends and superstitions in the Andes. Here, Daniel has chosen to represent them as watchful guardians. The crafting process includes the practice of pyrography and the use of a burin to make fine incisions; the artisan carefully gives shape to each owl's features which include feathers, wings and a delightfully detailed face.

This ornament is sculpted of clay and painted by hand. Beautiful purples, greens, and blues provide its plumage. Jute cord. Bird ornaments are delicate and should be handled with care. Great for a tabletop tree! Ceramic ornaments are the product of a collaboration with a family-run artisan workshop operating near Antigua, Guatemala. Terracotta and ceramic craftsmanship have been crucial to the development of Mesoamerica since prehistory, and this workshop continues in that tradition despite the proliferation of plastic in local markets. This workshop is a force in the Guatemalan handmade scene that motivates artisans throughout the region to innovate in design and technology. Each handmade design is as unique as the artisan who created it.
