This porcelain coated grates are useless after a couple of years. The coating flakes off, and now the underling cast iron is degrading. Genesis II 300 Series purchased in 2022. Never again will I buy a Weber.

Excellent grill grates. Just got these to replace the originals from almost 20 years ago.

I’ve had my grill for a few years now and after about 8 months these grates rusted and are flaking apart. The warming rack is simply rusty wires now. I have a friend with a much older Genesis and the grates are a different type that are flat on top and fall off edges and they are still holding up after many more years and I can’t find that type here? Very disappointed in these grates only to find out that replacements are anywhere from $150 to $200+ on top of that my lighter no longer works and the temp gauge has stopped working correctly. I paid a lot of money for this grill on my friend’s recommendation and his older Genesis seems to be holding up much better. I love the Weber name but something needs to be done to stand up to the quality that once was a Weber…

Grates are rusted and metal is flaking off. Same for Flavor bar and burners. Very disappointed.

I had an issue with my original grates rusting and Weber took care of it for me under warranty.
