I thought this base would be heavy enough to hold the umbrella up in a breeze. It isn't. I bought it for a 9' umbrella. Never have purchased one before. I needed help on determining what weight base I needed and I guessed wrong.

This stand is much better for a larger umbrella - 8 feet and over. The stand includes a ring that holds the umbrella pole up-right.

I received an empty box which I reported by text. My loss has gone unnoticed.
