Needed a new steamer for the wood stove in my kitchen. This kettle was perfect for my decor.

Very poor materials used on this steamer. Began rusting on day 2 of use…. Won’t recommend this item.

This is much nicer than the picture shows. It is definitely cast-iron… very heavy. This was a great purchase. 

This is a gorgeous steamer. It's big and heavy and holds a lot of water—it might just become a family heirloom.

Works great. I gave it 4 instead of 5 only because evidently if you dry it out you can crack the coating inside. For something that is meant to sit on top of a wood stove, this is probably going to happen sooner or later.
