Cute but not for the midwest. Paint peeled and house literally fell apart within a few months.

These birdhouses are for outdoor. Even if coated with a clear sealant it would fall apart because they are made of either balsa or thin shavings of pine. The layers peel apart. I have used it as a template to build the one behind it. I epoxied the roof together, painted it, sealed it and re-used it. But that was truely the most expensive template ever! My solid house is behind it.
