Very cute birdhouse. We plan to do a weather protectant before hanging it outdoors. I removed the wreath on the door because it felt cheesy.

Such a cute bird house. Love it! I just wanted it as a yard decoration, so blocked the bird entry, but they managed to get in and build a nest anyway. They liked it too.

These birdhouses are for outdoor. Even if coated with a clear sealant it would fall apart because they are made of either balsa or thin shavings of pine. The layers peel apart. I have used it as a template to build the one behind it. I epoxied the roof together, painted it, sealed it and re-used it. But that was truely the most expensive template ever! My solid house is behind it.

This little birdhouse looks beautiful on the pond near the lighthouse. We have a birdfeeder on the opposite side, they eat, eat, and eat at their own pleasure. it is very durable as well, lovely!
