Installed this as a part of my bathroom renovation and I couldn't be happier. It allows me to have a over the head rainshower shower head without having to have to relocate my plumbing into my ceiling. I did have to redo some plumbing to get the shower spout to the correct height for install. The rail attaches to the shower plumbing at the upper bracket, the lower bracket is merely for support. There is a built-in hand-held shower diverter, so you will need to consider the right sized shower hose and hand held shower head. Pros: High-end contemporary design. Solid build. Cons: Pricey but worth it. May require some plumbing work if existing shower plumbing is too low.

This hydrorail allowed us to raise the showerhead by over 4" and add a handheld. The install took my husband (who is not particularly handy) less than 30 minutes and we love the results.
