Not as ice as I expected

Don’t be fooled by the pretty exterior. There are things we truly love about the Anthem valve & trim but our GC & his master plumber had such difficulty installing it that I have to strongly urge you pass on this until Kohler works out some very very troubling design flaws. I researched this extensively and there are a few people who are happy with it but way more who had the same exact issues I had. Yes, I wish I had listened to them but we tend to think the consumer is doing something wrong or not following directions. Kohler’s customer service is wonderful and all SIX we called tried to help but nothing really fixed the issue. The plumber was finally able to install it but he could only get either the hot or the cold to work but not both so they could mix. Kohler sent new cartridges & that helped but the dial is still totally off and I can only get burn yourself HOT water or warm but never just cold water. We’re afraid to have plumber come back for fear I won’t have any hot water to take a bath. I wish I could just get lever handles but that would entail ripping down all the tile. We don’t really know what to do at this point & we’re utterly devastated. I would pay another plumber if I could be sure he could fix it but I don’t know who to call. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM!! IT REALLY RUINED MY VERY EXPENSIVE BATH RENO.

Works as intended but this was a replacement for a broken first attempt, so overall not that thrilled.
