Simple, yet stunning trim for a shower handle. Was really hoping this would work, but it requires a rough-in valve that fits the cartridge I took a picture of (massive!). The chrome was so shiny and heavy metal, so its a shame that I wouldnt replace my piping to fit it.

Grohe Atrio pressure balance valve trim, I got the brushed nickel. Very nice quality. Nicely made with some weight to it. Came very well packed with. I still need to order the rough-in valve before installation. Should last for many years. Great product.

I chose the Grohe Atrio Pressure Balance Valve Trim in Starlight Chrome for it's contemporary/modern look and feel. I can very much appreciate the Starlight Chrome finish, as it's very brilliant. It came very well packaged with individually wrapped hardware pieces. I found no imperfections or marring of the finish, which is what you should always expect in chrome finishes. I've seen some very beautiful chrome pieces just turn atrocious simply because the finish was blemished by rough, unpolished areas, unsmoothed weld joints, and for pits or bumps in the finish. it comes with the valve handle, cover trim, plastic mounting hardware trim (with rubber edging seal), cartridge valve, valve cover and fasteners (w/ allen wrench and finishing cap to cover the hex screw for when you are done with your install). Keep in mind, that this does not come with the rough-in mixing valve GroheSafe 3.0 rough-in valve (this is the part that goes behind the shower wall. Yeah-I know it makes no sense to me why you have to buy two required components when they are both needed ... it's like buying a car and then realizing that you need to buy the wheels. So anyway, I still need to install all this for my bathroom remodel, but I'm getting everything little-by-little because I don't know how to save money and do all this at once - there's madness to my method.

Very heavy! The material feels like very good quality and makes the moen dial I’m replacing feel so cheap by comparison. I haven’t installed yet, I have a plumber coming next week to check my set up but I am very pleased at the look and feel. Feels very high end.

This is a very nice shower handle. It's made of actual metal, not flimsy plastic, and is very heavy. It feels high quality and has a very modern design. Be warned that this does show fingerprints in the polished chrome finish. Also note that this is just the trim kit, it does not include the actual valve.
