We bought this and installed in our brand new door and home. We have only lived here for a month and the handle is broken. Took the entire thing apart and found the inside busted. No repair will fix it.

The door is opened by a thumb latch on the exterior and by a knob on the interior. On the deadbolt, there is a keyed lock cylinder for use on the outside of the door while a thumb turn is used to lock the door on the interior.

Waterfall edges and graceful curves at the top and bottom of the plate provide a classic, but a dignified update to your exterior door hardware. The Carre One-Piece Handleset is available with any Grandeur Hardware knob and lever. Ideal for doors that are 84 inches or higher, where a standard height plate would not look to scale.
