This is a great item that I will use for years and probably pass down to my daughter. The price is high because the construction is of the highest quality. The glass containers are thick and large enough for a variety of condiments. I am going to use mine to hold items for a coffee/tea bar for an upcoming party and then for a yogurt / ice cream bar later. It is rather large as this is built for commercial use too, so it probably will not stay on my counter. I will bring it out for parties. You can get lids for the containers separately and I think I will get a replacement glass jar now. I only worry if one jar breaks, it makes it harder to use the entire piece.

I use it for my vegetable crudite platter. I put the dips in the middle 2 jars and fill the other 4 with standing veggies. It is cool looking!

Perfect for our bar. Exactly what I wanted. I did not want the ugly black condiment caddy that is usually behind the bar.
