Use felt or rubber feet pads on the bottom surfaces of all objects placed on the table. Clean: Wipe up spills quickly to avoid staining. When necessary, clean using mild household detergent and water. Do not use natural citrus based cleansers, cleaning products that contain acetone, denatured alcohol, heavy abrasive, bleach-based, or ammoniated cleansers as they can damage the natural materials. Maintenance and wear: Tables are pre-waxed from factory, but must be re-waxed periodically. Wax once within 2 months of receiving your product and every 3 to 6 months thereafter using carnauba wax or beeswax. Wax well before winter. If wax coating is knowingly cut, scraped, or damaged, new wax should be applied. Non-structural hairline cracks are possible and result from shrinkage, age, and the natural curing process. If hairline cracks appear, rewax immediately. Completely fill the hairline crack. Cover or store indoors during wet weather. Use a tenting device when covered (e.g. support pole, table riser). Bring indoors during freezing conditions. Avoid leaving objects on the table for extended periods or during wet weather as marks could form. Prolonged exposure may cause penetration of the sealer and possible discoloration.
