The receiver for this causes the light to blink once before turning on. The second fan in brushed silver and grey blades has a different model receiver and it works fine.

The light is okay. Unfortunately it did not fit my Minka Aire fan. I made it work anyway as it has been extremely difficult to find parts for this fan.
