I was a little worried drilling directly into my hardwood floors, but this actually worked great. It is well secured, and I like how it goes far back on the door to prevent the door knob from hitting the wall. Great buy.

Limited lifetime mechanical warranty. Polished Brass, Polished Nickel, and Satin Nickel carry a lifetime limited finish warranty. There is no finish warranty on Non-Lacquered Brass 031, Vintage Brass 033, Oil-Rubbed Bronze 102. Other finish, Baldwin warrants to the Purchaser that the finish of the product shall be free of defects in material and workmanship from tarnishing, flaking, and discoloring for either (a) five (5) years from the date of purchase for interior use or (b) one (1) year from the date of purchase for exterior use; as long as said Purchaser occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed.
