[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hose is like a braided nylon? cloth? It's soft and smooth, no rubber or metal, no kinking, lightweight. So one end has a universal attachment to hand held shower head, and one end has a narrower attachment to shower arm mount (an attachment to shower arm that holds hand held shower). At 50 inches it's a bit short for be used in tub, really meant for shower only.
