This one was to replace one that was broken in half during shipping but this looks like damage before packaging.i recommend cushion to protect the paper cord. The chairs are very well made. Solid construction, the woodgrain is beautiful and the lines are clean. My only negative is I wish the cushions were a bit thicker/plusher. The fabric is also not as cream colored as pictured, not in a bad way, but it's almost like linen (in appearance) with some darker threads mixed in to give it some interesting depth. This chair was inspired by the Hepplewhite chairs of the late 1700s and early 1800s. It features a "heart-shaped" shield back with a bellflower inlay made of satinwood. The legs are traditional Hepplewhite-style tapered square legs. Muslin fabric standard.
