An interesting seat adapted from early 18th century Windsor originals. The Windsor chair takes its name from the English town of Windsor, where it originated around 1710. By the 1730s, the style made its way across the ocean and began appearing in the American colonies. Shaped splayed corner posts are separated by a curved crest rail fitted with an open cane on the front and back.
