this desk came fully assembled at least this one did. the guys were professional and very good. I had read the reviews about damage but there is not a scratch on this thing. it is a monster desk that is very heavy. Terribly done. Waited weeks for it and upon delivery, it was such a let down. The painting on the desk is so careless and sloppy, no care was put into it at all. And even though they advertise as a glass top, the actual desk was just a painted gloss lacquer. With bubbles sporadically popped up along the surface. There were gold colored foil chips throughout the inlays and overall, very poor craftsmanship and unacceptable painting. It’s painted so poorly it’s like they weren't even trying to be professional.. desk is beautiful but the drawer bay arrived damaged and I reported to perigold immediately and uploaded a picture and have still not heard or had any efforts to correct/replace the damaged desk. the drawer allignment is also off and rubs along the bottom and will damage the desk..
