TOP OF DESK IS NOT SECURED TO LEGS. THIS MEANS THAT IT IS NOT STABLE ON A CARPETED SURFACE. Almost had to send it back, since it was intended for a carpeted area in a study. We managed to move the carpet to allow the desk to stand on hard floor only, but it really limited our placement of the desk. This information should be in the item's description. That said, it is an attractive desk.

I Love this desk. The glass is solid and heavy. Putting it together was super easy but it does take two people.

The desk is beautiful and chic but wabbles too much. It's not very stable even with the desktop and all decorations on top.
