Inspired by the soft, sandy hues of the seaside, the distinctive, sun-bleached look of the Driftwood Collection is achieved by first lightening the mango wood, then applying a subtle, creamy wash. Handcrafted lattice doors, adjustable shelves, and four interior drawers. Media cut-outs in the back.
This painstaking carving process is aimed to show a different side of the natural beauty and texture of wood that is not usually seen on plain surfaces. The peaks and valleys are created to convey an abstract texture that is organic and sculptural in form. Painted in black, the texture mimics that of delicate charcoal with none of its instability.
