This Regency-styled Nightstand is constructed of Acacia solids and cherry veneers finished in a slightly distressed antique black with hand-applied gold accents. The top and drawer fronts are inset with Eglomise glass panels. Two drawers allow for ample bedside storage.

Crafted from oak solids and narrow heart oak veneer the cadence two-drawer nightstand features antique brass trim wrapping around the two separate soft close drawers, and serving as the supports for the suspended top. Antique brass drawer pulls are recessed into each drawer.

These are attractive nightstands and seem to be well made, however, the quality of furniture simply isn't what it used to be. Rather than having a true wood grain, it is a faux wood grain. I have some Bernhardt furniture where the faux wood grain is flaking off, which is disturbing for what is supposedly a high quality piece of furniture. The Monarch Taylor two-drawer nightstand is finished in a cream-colored lacquer and accented with cream and taupe-colored faux shagreen on the drawer faces. Tapered legs, raised moldings and a large nickel ring pull make it a glamorous choice beside a bed.

Color is butter yellow, not ivory at all. One night stand had chips to the top even though box was undamaged.
