These are attractive nightstands and seem to be well made, however, the quality of furniture simply isn't what it used to be. Rather than having a true wood grain, it is a faux wood grain. I have some Bernhardt furniture where the faux wood grain is flaking off, which is disturbing for what is supposedly a high quality piece of furniture. You never know what you are getting when you are ordering online because you don't get to see is in person.
