Conceived during the design process for Audo's new creative destination Audo space located in Copenhagen's thriving Nordhavn (Northern Harbour) area, the Harbour chair is the result of fulfilling a variety of needs (among others) comfortable versatility. Designed specifically for Audo space, the dining chair is ideal for anything from restaurants, conferences, offices, or in the comfort of one’s own home. A hybrid space that mixes office, showroom, café, co-working, and event space in one, Audo space required a chair that could suit a range of purposes. Finding a perfect balance between geometry and organic shapes, the shell’s backrest bends outwards for maximum support, providing not only comfort but also an elegant and slim appearance that will appeal to any discerning design aficionado.

Together, mutually, in common: The words that define the prefix ‘co-’ are at the heart of our new design. Conceived in collaboration with The Office Group and Norm Architects, the multi-functional chair adapts to a wide range of needs and interior styles. It addresses the space and design challenges shared by spaces both private and public, making it as appealing in homes as in shared areas like conferences, boardrooms, and touch-down co-working lounges. The multi-functional chair addresses the space and design challenges shared by spaces both private and public, making it as appealing in homes as in shared areas like conferences, boardrooms, and touch-down co-working lounges. The chair pairs a lightweight, sleek profile with great seating comfort and the option to stack up to 12 to 15 chairs in a compact tower. Aesthetically, the design's contoured form and warm materials bring Norm Architects' signature, human-centered minimalism to residential and hospitality applications. The design's versatility is the result of a thoughtful construction and a wide array of materials: With numerous veneer finishes and upholstery options to choose from, the chair is easy to customize to create the desired expression and experience. The chair is distinguished by a wide veneer back, whose proportions allow freedom of movement and provide maximum comfort. Comfort also led to the design of the backrest, which is positioned and angled for exceptional support. The chair's slender yet robust powder-coated steel frame defines the intriguing geometric silhouette and delivers high durability. Optional veneer armrests add another aesthetic and functional dimension, serving both for added comfort and for suspending the chair off the floor for easy cleaning.

The result of a study of the possibilities of form-pressing techniques, the Ready chair, created for Audo by Matias Møllenbach and Nick Rasmussen, takes its cues from classic free-swing chair designs, its cantilevered seat and backrest appearing as if suspended on air. Perfectly sized for use as a dining chair, its stackable design and row-connecting feature make it equally suited to a multitude of other uses. The Ready dining chair can be stacked with 10 chairs with and without the row connection.

Beautifully minimal, the Afteroom chair pays homage to functionalism and the Bauhaus School of Art. An Audo's bestseller ever since its launch in 2012, the chair is the work of Afteroom, a young Stockholm-based design studio, founded by designers Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei. With Afteroom Plus the duo elevates the chair to higher heights with the introduction of new bar and counter versions that have now been added to the Afteroom chair family. Like the original, the chair is deconstructed and stripped of unnecessary components, but now boasts the additional feature of a wider backrest and a luxurious upholstering of both seat and backrest. The result is a blissfully simple chair that embodies both minimalism and style, bound to steal the show in any room.
