Wonderful piece, great color, lots of storage space

The Harper Sideboard in a neutral shade of grey is serene, feminine, elegant, delicate. This impression comes from the door panels featuring vertical grooving -- suggesting timelessness - no ending, no beginning. I also like the subtle use of beading - just 4 bands: the first two examples of beading occur on the two right doors of the sideboards and again, right under the eaves of the top of the sideboard. So, overall, while the ornamentation on the sideboard is subtle and restrained, it really is quite powerful in creating a feeling of serenity. Caveats: the inner shelf has a shelf weight capacity of 100lbs. It is a long shelf, so this may be a problem if you put a lot of things on it. The shelf may start to bow in the middle. A good solution: make it a six door sideboard. However, despite its narrow footprint, it is quite commodious. Another caveat: the keys are well nigh impossible to turn. But the key fob is exquisite. Kudos for supporting knot-craft.
